The Interval by Roy Abergel internship program is the answer to an ever growing demand for coaching education beyond the traditional weekend seminars or online courses offered out there. It has been designed to provide the intern with the experiences and tools to begin a career as a strength and conditioning, group and personal coach.

Selected interns will have the opportunity to teach and coach under the direct supervision of Interval’s owner and head coach Roy Abergel.

Interns will be expected to spend eight or more hours per week (up to a total of 100 hours overall) teaching classes of beginning and intermediate athletes and coaching individuals and groups with day to day feedback.

As a final requirement, interns must pass an exam on anatomy, kinesiology and program planning in order to receive a certificate of completion.

A one year Personal and Group Training job contract will be offered to any intern that completes all of the requirements.
